Susan Wildburger earned a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies in 2005 from WGU. In 2007, she earned a Master of Arts in Education (English Language Learning). Today, she is an adjunct teacher for Brookhaven College. Additionally, Susan writes a newspaper column Teacher Voices for the Dallas News.com website. Below are a link to her column and a profile.
Why she teaches: To empower young minds with self-sufficiency skills, thinking and logical skills, as well as self-respect to succeed academically. Background: Born in Peru to German parents, she grew up fluent in three languages. She now speaks five languages. "I'm a diverse and multicultural person. I have a broader view of multicultural and diverse education issues and thought processes." What works with her own kids: Being attuned without cultural differences (since my children were born in America) and challenging them every day, thus motivating them to succeed without overdependence. |
